Abstract

A general purpose partial differential equation solver, PDE2D, which is useful on a wide range of computational physics applications, including 1D, 2D and 3D, time-dependent, steady-state and eigenvalue problems, is described. This program has the advantages of being both accurate and very easy to use. Its wide applicability is illustrated by solving three representative quantum mechanics problems.
