Abstract

The authors examine the Lorentz invariant nonlinear field equations with a variable exponent in several space dimensions in order to prove the existence of soliton‐like solutions. The existence of a static solution minimizing the energy is proved. Under some addition assumptions, the existence of infinitely many solutions is also proved.
