Abstract

A method for calculating finite solid-angle correction factors for coaxial and five-sided Ge(Li) detectors is presented. This method is applicable to full energy peaks in the energy range where photoelectric interaction is dominant and to double escape peaks in the energy range where pair production is dominant. A computer program has been developed for this purpose in FORTRAN language for the CDC 3600 computer.
