Abstract
A solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell with 7.3% efficiency is fabricated using crack-free, organized, mesoporous TiO2 films with high surface areas and good interconnectivity. On page 26, Jong Hak Kim and co-workers demonstrate the role of the hybrid template, i.e., alumina nanoparticles grafted with a hydrophilic polymer. This template can be used for the preparation of various mesoporous inorganic oxide films.
