Abstract

The present paper studies Juvenile Delinquency from the perspective of the sociological theories of criminology. Since, Juvenile Delinquency as a concept originates from the societal parameters, and flourishes within the society; it correlates with the societal framework; it's imperative to understand how Delinquency has taken its present shape. Therefore, the paper discusses the sociological theories to understand the relationship between crime to Delinquency. The present paper also tries to research whether one or two theories can suffice the need to understand Juvenile Delinquency or whether all the theories should be studied in correlation with each other in different societal frameworks.
