Abstract
The article provides a comparative analysis of various areas of the modern theory of economic ecosystems. The authors identified the relative advantages and disadvantages of the theory of business ecosystems, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and socio-economic ecosystems. The authors investigated the problems of modern agribusiness, their background and solutions. The authors proved that the Russian agro-industrial business has great development potential, and the theory of socio-economic ecosystems can become the scientific basis for the development of agro-industrial business in modern conditions.
