Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is a systematic effort to foster students' entrepreneurial spirit. This is expected to be a solution so that graduates can create jobs and reduce unemployment. However, the facts show that the solution has not been able to solve the people's social problems.. Facts in the field of these facilities can not fully be a solution in tackling the social problems of the people. Imam Syafei Integrated Islamic Boarding School in overcoming this problem seeks entrepreneurship education on a social entrepreneurial approach that emphasizes efforts to spread kindness and help in helping people's social problems. This study aims to analyze the form of community benefit through social entrepreneurship programs at the Imam Syafi'I Integrated Islamic Boarding School in Batam. This research uses qualitative methods and tests the validity of the data by using the triangulation technique. This research shows that in achieving the vision of the institution, namely forming a generation of Rabbani through the concept of social entrepreneurship, it is implemented guided by the elements of social entrepreneurship, namely Social value, Innovation, Civil society, and economic activity. This element is adapted in order to achieve the goal of social entrepreneurship, which is to provide benefits to many people which is actually in accordance with the concept of Islamic economics.
