Abstract

Cutaneous manifestations of intemal malignancies are caused by either direct or indirect effects of cancer. Direct effects refer to the influences of tumor growth and metastasis on surrounding organ system, indirect effects to paraneoplastic dermatoses. This anicle describes clinical manifestations of cutaneous metastatic tumors and common paraneoplastic dermatoses. Cutaneous manifestations can be the first diagnostic clue to an underlying malignancy in an apparently healthy patient, therefore, the recognition of cutaneous manifestation will contribute to early diagnosis of potential tumors.
