Abstract
The impact of plastic surgery courses upon confidence, skills acquisition and understanding of specialty amongst junior trainees is poorly documented. We undertook a study to elucidate and quantify the impact of attendance at a British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS)-endorsed basic skills course in plastic surgery (the MY Plastic Surgery Course) upon these factors.
