Co.'s San Jose Water Company is a public utility in the business of providing water service to a population of approximately 1.0 million people, as of Dec 31 2006, in an area comprising about 138 square miles in the metropolitan San Jose area, while its SJWTX Water Inc. subsidiary serves about 22,000 residents in the regions between San Antonio and Austin, TX. Co.'s SJW Land Company owns and operates parking facilities, which are adjacent to San Jose Water Company's headquarters and the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA. Co.'s Crystal Choice Water Service LLC is engaged in the sale and rental of water conditioning and purification equipment.
