Abstract
Abstract Konigsson, L.-K.: Sju riddares trask. Geologiska Foreningens i Stockholm Forhandlingar. Vol. 91, pp. 366–373. Stockholm, 30 September 1969. A pollen diagram from Sju riddares trask (The Marsh of the seven knights) not far from Stockholm is presented. The diagram shows how the landscape was more open during Roman Iron Age than it is today. A slight tendency to general overgrowth enters some 300–400 AD accompanied by a striking decrease in the curve for Juniperus. Simultaneously the Plantago lanceolata curve diminishes. Later on the two curves are restaured to a certain degree but the landscape overgrowth tendency continues nevertheless and reaches its maximum during Medieval Time.
