Abstract

Two series of high-order tetrahedral finite elements are proposed for better representation of the scalar potential near sharp edges and corners. The new elements, of orders 1 to 5, are applied to scalar magnetic- and electric-field problems and are shown to give substantially less error than traditional high-order elements with the same number of degrees of freedom.
