Abstract

This paper describes a first-order all-pass filter using single voltage differencing gain amplifier (VDGA). The proposed circuit comprises one VDGA cooperating with two identical resistors and one grounded capacitor, which is attractive to integrated circuit architecture. The phase relationship of the output and input signals can be electronically adjusted by input bias current of the VDGA. The proposed circuit functions as a phase shifter for a wide range of frequency and offers a precise sinusoidal output signal with a low total harmonic distortion (THD). PSpice simulation results are setup to confirm several performances of the proposed circuit, they are agreed well with the mentioned expectations. The total power consumption of the proposed circuit is approximately 1.81mW at ±1.2V power supply.
