Abstract

Single-photon double-ionization cross sections for a photon interacting with Li+ ions are calculated using the R-matrix plus pseudo state (RMPS) method for photon energies ranging from 200 eV to 500 eV. Comparisons are made with other theoretical approaches such as time-dependent close-coupling (TDCC), the convergent close-coupling (CCC) and the B-spline approach. Differences are high-lighted and discussed.
