Abstract
Abstract A quantum generalization of the Cooper–Frye recipe is proposed. The calculation of the single-particle spectrum arising in relativistic collisions of particles and nuclei is carried out within the framework of thermal quantum field theory. The starting point of consideration is the solution of the initial-value problem of the radiation of particles from a space-like hypersurface. In the next steps, we obtain a single-particle spectrum using the ‘lesser’ Green’s function associated with the fireball environment. Based on this result, several specific conditions for particle emission are considered.
