Abstract
Cytoreductive surgery (CRS) combined with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) is a treatment option for peritoneal surface malignancy (PC) from colorectal cancer (CRC). Videolaparoscopy (VLS) is a staging step prior to CRS, in patients with a Peritoneal Cancer Index (PCI) ≤ 20 at CT scan, but it is mandatory to use median line only. Single port laparoscopy device offers the advantage of single access on the midline for staging.
