Abstract

The nonlinear properties of piezoceramic materials reflect their performance in actual application. Researches of nonlinear properties of piezoceramics are committed to improve piezoelectric properties and to predict the change of material performance. In this study, a two-dimensional model established by using a circular distribution to quantify certain domain properties is focused. Self-adaptive differential evolution algorithm is proposed to optimize spontaneous polarization and spontaneous strain which effects the model a lot for a commercial-grade soft PZT (PIC151). An inverse problem solving is proposed to retrieve dielectric coefficient and piezoelectric coefficient. The optimal results and inverse problem solving values are compared with dielectric and butterfly curves by experiment in literature. The algorithm converges quickly and a good agreement is achieved between retrieved values and experiment results, which means the simulation can character piezoceramic materials properties well.
