Abstract
The application spheres of the Remotely Piloted Air Systems are constantly extended with the development of the technology. However, one of the technical challenges to be solved in order to ensure safe and efficient operations of Remotely Piloted Air Systems is to provide reliable and fast communication channel. For simulation of navigation and flight control systems traffic in Remotely Piloted Air Systems, the model of communication channel “Base Station – Remotely Piloted Air Systems – Global Positioning System” was built using NetCracker Professional 4.1 software. Dependencies of the channel's Average Utilization on the Transaction Size and channel bandwidth, together with the influence of the Bit Error Rate were analyzed.
