Abstract

This paper presents the microwave wireless propagation channel for sea surface by stochastic modeling method, then simulating and analyzing the channel transmission characteristics. It has a simple introduction of sea surface modeling based on PM power spectrum theory first. Because sea surface propagation causes multipath effect, it's necessary to study the multipath ray model and the numerical characteristics. A multipath propagation channel model is established by utilizing the stochastic bridge process modeling approach. Then obtaining the mathematical model of the multipath channel transfer function and simulating the channel transmission characteristics of the incident waves under same sea conditions. Compared with the theoretical results and simulation results, we can verify the feasibility and effectiveness of stochastic modeling.
