Abstract

As more universities adopt interactive distance education technology, faculty members will be faced with the decision of whether or not to teach a course via distance education. This article presents a structured technique to help the marketing educator in making that decision. Consideration criteria, including institutional support, personal considerations and career opportunities, are presented as well as sources of information for the marketing educator.
