Abstract

The relevance of this book for students is clear from the outset. If a single assessment process for health and social care is to be achieved, then a student cohort using it naturally in their practice is needed. This is not to undermine the determination of all support services to adopt single assessment. However, a new intake of skilled and confident assessors can only speed up the move towards integrated and effective person-centred assessment.
