Abstract: This research paper presents a critical analysis of the pervasive matter of sexual harassment faced by women at educational institutions. Sexual harassment remains a significant concern that not only infringes upon the rights as well as dignity of women but also creates a hostile learning environment. This study aims to dissect the multifaceted aspects of sexual harassment within the educational context, offering a comprehensive examination of its causes, consequences, as well as responses. Through a rigorous review of academic literature, case studies, this paper delves into the complex dynamics that perpetuate sexual harassment. It explores the sociocultural factors, power imbalances, as well as institutional norms that contribute to this pervasive matter. Additionally, the study evaluates the efficacy of legal measures such as the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, as well as Redressal) Act, 2013, in the context of educational institutions.
