Abstract

Compared with product supply chain, as a new field of study, service supply chain has not been taken seriously. With the service sector's role in the world economy becoming more prominent, research direction at home and abroad has shifted from the traditional product supply chain perspective to explore how to apply the supply chain thinking to the service industry. This paper summarizes the results of service research at home and abroad, defines the meaning of service supply chain, distinguishes the similarities and differences between product supply chain and service supply chain and builds a service supply chain model based on the system management which is characterized by integrated service provider-led and information processing.
