Abstract

We study the critical exponents for the susceptibility and the correlation length for three continuous-spin models, which we call the border model, the double-well model and the single-well model, by the method of high-temperature series. We observe variations from the predictions of universality, but in some cases longer series may be required before firm conclusions can be drawn.
