Abstract
Research on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (pah)s compound at Jakarta Bay seawater were carried out on July 2011. The objectives of this research were to measure the concentration of total polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) compound, concentration of individual PAH compound, and to identify sources of PAH compound in seawater. PAH compound concentration was measured by Gas Chromatography (Gas Chromatography-Flame Ionization Detector) and sources of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons compound were identified by diagnostic ratio analysis. The results show that the concentration of PAH compound in the middle of Jakarta Bay was higher compared to the west and the east. In the west and middle of Jakarta Bay, it is found that 11 PAH types, and 10 types in the east. Individual PAH compound dominated by high moleculer weight of PAH Benzo(a)Anthracene, Chrysene, Benzo(b)Fluoranthene, Benzo(a)Pyrene, dan Indeno(123-cd) Pyrene. The results of PAH compound ratio individual analysis showed that polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons compound at Jakarta Bay seawater came from oil spill and incomplete combustion mixture of organic material such as wood, grass, fuel oil, and fuel industry combustion activity.

Hasil pengukuran kadar senyawa Polisiklik Aroamtik Hidrokarbon (PAH) dalam air laut pada bulan Juli 2011 disajikan pada Tabel 2. Tabel 2 tersebut memperlihatkan untuk kawasan barat (St 1, 2, 3 dan 4) kadar PAH berkisar 111,337-279,266 ppb dengan kadar total dan rerata masing-masing adalah 733,126 ppb dan 183,281 ppb. Untuk kawasan tengah (St 5, 6, 7, 8) kadar PAH berkisar antara 236,277-365,666 ppb dengan kadar total dan rerata masing-masing adalah 1188,401 ppb dan 297,100 ppb. Data ini menunjukkan bahwa Stasiun 1 dan 4 memiliki tingkat kontaminasi jenis PAH yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan stasiun lainnya. Untuk kawasan tengah (Tabel 4), jenis PAH terbanyak masih dijumpai di stasiun 6 yakni 11 jenis, selanjutnya diikuti oleh stasiun 5 dan 7 masing-masing sebanyak 9 jenis, dan Stasiun 8 sebanyak 7 jenis, dengan total jenis 36. Sama halnya dengan kawasan barat, untuk kawasan tengah ini PAH jenis Fluoranthene, Benzo(a) Anthracene, Chrysene, Benzo(b) Fluoranthene, Benzo(a)Pyrene, Indeno(123-cd)Pyrene, masih merupakan jenis-jenis yang dominan dijumpai di semua stasiun. Benzo(a)Pyrene memilik kadar tertinggi di Stasiun 5 yaitu 74,843 ppb, sedang di Stasiun 6, 7, dan 8 kadar tertinggi didominasi oleh Indeno(123-cd)Pyrene yaitu 122,040 ppb, 152,466 ppb, dan 65,389 ppb
