Abstract

During the process of designing an experiment which used data reported by Myers and Warner [5] for predictive purposes, two other studies which provided partial confirmation of Myers and Warner's results were also examined. Myers and Warner obtained fairly consistent scale values for evaluative words and phrases using two somewhat different methods and four different groups of subjects. This note will point out some quite similar results from the two previously reported studies.
