Abstract
ABSTRACT Computer‐based, self‐evaluation tests are being used at the University of Waikato in Physics, Education, Geography and French courses. These tests are available via computer terminals, and details are given of procedures together with examples of these tests. An example is also given of the interactive test writing programme for lecturers, and there is discussion of the development of the system to accommodate the requirements of a wide range of university subjects.
