Abstract

In 2017 the Financial Ombudsman's report "School Insurance" was published, in which, among others, the comments on the methods of insurance distribution in preschool and school institutions were presented. Unfortunately, this report has not been properly used either by the insurance sector or the entities running schools. Therefore, the problems indicated therein remain valid. They are mainly related to the distribution of school insurance. And it is precisely this issue that the authors focus their attention on. The aim of this article is, on the one hand, to present school insurance distribution models (after an attempt to define the term ‘school insurance’), and on the other hand, to show the problems associated with this distribution.
