Abstract

Tower power plant by building beautiful three-dimensional model of wind tunnel, using ICEM CED to mesh, FLUENT software for numerical analysis, using one of the RNG k-epsilon[1] Key words-wind tunnel, vortex, RNG k-epsilon turbulence model, velocity field, spread size.(key words) turbulence model, simulating the velocity field of wind tunnel, pressure filed and so on, obtained the wind speed distribution and pressure distribution of the specific circumstances in the wind tunnel. Simulation results showed that wind speed reached 30m/s or more, pressure quickly lowered along the flow channel from inlet to outlet and turbulent kinetic energy was the largest near the exit of the wind tunnel.
