Abstract
The relation between the salivary gland chromosomes and the linkage groups of Drosophila virilis was studied, and a chart involving the complete set of the salivary gland chromosomes was presented (Plate).The detail statement on this problem was published in the Cytologia (Vol. 7 No. 1-2 pp. 272-275).
