Abstract

Mechanical ventilation is an effective way to reduce and control radon concentration in underground uranium mine. Firstly, to meet the special requirements of radiation protection in underground uranium mine, the safety evaluation index system of underground uranium mine ventilation system based on the AHP and FCE was built from the perspective of safety and reliability. Secondly, this article elaborated how to distribute index weight by utilizing the AHP. Then, the introduction to the steps of FCE was given. Finally, these were applied to the safety evaluation of an underground uranium mine ventilation system. Subjective factors have little effect on the evaluation results due to the integrated utilization of the AHP and the FCE, moreover, the results are consistent with the real situation and are reliable. At the same time, the results point out the way to improve the safety and reliability of underground uranium mine ventilation system, which can facilitate the managers to make decisions.
