Abstract

Pancreatic stula is still one of the most serious and potential complications after post-laparotomy. Despite their importance, pancreatic stulas still have not been uniformly dened. Amylase concentration of the drainage uid after surgery for gastric cancer can be considered a predictive factor of the presence of a pancreatic stula. We report such a case where a high level of drain uid amylase led to the detection of possible pancreatic injury after a hysterectomy
