Abstract

In this work, we present the morphological, optical and electrical transport properties of CdSe colloidal nanorods as building blocks in electro-optical conversion devices, as a function of the thin-film deposition technique and of substrate functionalization. In particular, we show the role of the ligand molecules and of the defect states in phototransport and optical properties.
