Abstract

The film “Big Fish and Begonia” draws on the philosophical ideas and spiritual core of ancient books such as “Zhuangzi” and “The Legend of the Immortals”, and uses “water” as the main image to build a fictional story that connects bottom of the sea and the world. The article is devoted to the study of the role of the image of “water” in this animated film.
