Abstract
We consider the continuous Heisenberg spin chain equation S→t=α(t)S→×S→xx+β(t)S→x,S→⋅S→=1,where α(t) and β(t) are the parameters to describe the bilinear interaction, and the spin-transfer torque resulted from the spin-polarized current, respectively. We present explicitly the rogue wave solutions based on the gauge equivalence between the spin chain equation and a kind of nonlinear Schrödinger equation.
