Abstract

This paper presents some state reconstruction scheme for a class of infinite dimensional systems, from the only knowledge of boundary conditions. The considered model is typical of convection-diffusion processes with possible additional reaction phenomenon. The state reconstruction is based on a simple boundary output injection and a full convergence analysis. The robustness of the estimation with respect to modeling errors is also discussed. It is shown that if one employs more sensors to get more measurements, the robustness can be reinforced. An illustrative example with pollutants transport problem is presented accordingly. The proposed approach is finally validated in simulation by using the newly developed Lattice Boltzmann Method.
