Abstract
Abstract A robotic set (the machine-tool/robot unit) comprised of a numerically controlled lathe and a multi-purpose microcomputer-based robot is described. Programs for the lathe servoing by the robot are also described. Such programs that supply robots with professional skills considerably simplity the task of robot programming. Due to these programs robots can recognize the manufacturing situations by basing on the sensor data and perform the required operations under hindrances. An example of using the robotic set for production of a specific part is presented.
