Abstract
The article is devoted to road surfaces designed in historic areas under conservation protection, addressing the issue of ensuring accessibility for people with special needs in light of new legal regulations. The authors focus on identifying provisions, patterns, and standards related to user-friendly surfaces, especially for individuals with disabilities. They also propose detailed adjustments to legal provisions to eliminate or minimize solutions that are disadvantageous for people with special needs
