Abstract
The incorporation of [ 14C]orotic acid into whole liver RNA and nuclear RNA was examined at various times after a single administration of 3-methylcholanthrene. No significant change in specific activity was observed. Zonal ultracentrifugation patterns of nuclear RNA were also unaffected by pretreatment of the rats with 3-methylcholanthrene.
