MATERIAL and METHODS: Patients who underwent circumcision at external centers and applied for revision between 2015 and 2022 were retrospectively examined. Sixty-eight eligible patients were examined in terms of age, circumcision method, expertise of the person performing the circumcision, type of anesthesia and reason for revision. RESULTS: While 76 revisions were made in total; The most common complications were bleeding in 10 cases, excessive foreskin in 10 cases, meatal stenosis in 13 cases, inclusion cyst in 6 cases, buried penis in 7 cases, and penile chordee in 6 cases. While the average age of circumcision of the patients was 12.76±2.01 months, 61 complications developed in children aged 1 year and under. They applied after the circumcision, 31 of which were performed by a specialist surgeon, 33 by a general practitioner and 12 by medical personnel. CONCLUSION: The biggest cause of circumcision complications is seen as circumcision performed at an early age, especially in the neonatal period. Additionally, the use of monopolar cautery should be avoided and care should be taken that local anesthetics do not contain vasoconstrictive agents.
