Abstract
Abstract The recent exhibition Paris 1793–1794: une année révolutionnaire at the Musée Carnavalet in Paris marked the first exhibition on the subject of the French Revolution since the museum reopened in 2021 after a five‐year period of renovation. Examining politics, culture and everyday life in the tumultuous ‘Year Two’ of the French Revolution, Paris 1793–1794 revisits the contested legacy of the revolution's radical phase.
