Abstract

Abstract Shoulder, the ball and socket joint of the body have been one of the most used joint of the body that suffers wear and tear during the late adulthood. This paper reviews some of the pre-existing technology of shoulder implants. It also proposes a new design for increasing the stability of the shoulder joint also considering the mobility. The total shoulder prosthesis design that is discussed here would focus more on treating complications due to the instability of the joint like subluxation, dislocation and loosening.
