Retraction: "TMEM206 promotes the malignancy of colorectal cancer cells by interacting with AKT and extracellular signal-regulated kinase signaling pathways", by Jinbo Zhao, Dehua Zhu, Xiupeng Zhang, Yong Zhang, Jianping Zhou, and Ming Dong, J Cell Physiol. 2019; 10888-10898: The above article, published online on 11 November 2018 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/jcp.27751), has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Gregg Fields, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. Several flaws and inconsistencies between results presented and experimental methods described were found, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
