This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief, for duplication of text, results and figures, as well as salami slicing of research results, related to the following 2 papers: • The experimental research on adhesion and mass loss for reinforcing steel covered with polymeric sulphuric composites (Kompozyty, 2010(4), pp.374-379). • Research on usability of sulphur polymer composite for corrosion protection of reinforcing steel in concrete. Archives of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, 2009(1), pp.47-59 One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original and has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. Re-use of any data should be appropriately cited. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
