The “Atg5” blot in Fig 3C appears to be identical between the left panel, showing TXNDC17 shRNA cells, and the right panel, showing STAT3 shRNA cells. The journal has attempted to contact the authors of this article for clarification or explanation but has received no response. As a result, the Editor has lost confidence in the validity of the findings presented in this work and is retracting it from the journal
