Abstract
Abstract Solvothermal reactions of 1, 3, 5-tris (4-carboxyphenyl)-benzene (H3BTB) with Gd(NO3)·6H2O gave rise to a new highly porous coordination polymer {[Gd(BTB)(H2O)](DMF)(H2O)}n (1) having three dimensional structure. In light of its highly rigid framework as well as the large one-dimensional triangular channel configuration that has abundant open metal sites, we can utilize the resulting activated 1a as effective Lewis catalysts for the acetaldehyde's cyanosilylation at room temperature. The comparison experiments reflect that the open Gd2+ sites, as catalytic activation sites, played a crucial part in heterogeneous catalysis. In connection to these, the possible catalysis mechanism has also been discussed in detail. Compound 1a inhibition against the cancer cell viability was detected by the CCK-8 assay. Besides, the cell colony formation assay was also carried out for the cell proliferation assay. Next, we further explored the mechanism of compound 1a against cancer cells, so the Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining assay was performed to determine the cell apoptosis.
