Abstract
We the Editor and Publisher of Journal of Geoscience Education, have retracted the following article, which was first published online ahead of print in the Latest Articles area of the journal's website on 28 July 2021: Goldsmith, David W. (2021). Rock Your Body: A first-year learning community integrating geology and fitness. Journal of Geoscience Education, DOI: 10.1080/10899995.2021.1937446 Since publication, the author has learned and made us aware that the data files used in the analyses were mislabeled, compromising the validity of the analyses. The author, Editor, and Publisher agree with the decision to retract the article. We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted.”
