Abstract

As is illustrated in Wikipedia, a smart grid is defined as an electrical grid which contains a variety of operational and energy measures, such as smart meters, smart appliances, renewable energy resources, energy efficient resources, and so on. How to effectively schedule the resources of the smart grid is very important. Therefore, in this paper, we aim to propose an efficient resource optimization scheduling method for smart grid. Firstly, we discuss the problem of determining the planning level of load distribution, substation capacity and power supply area with high accuracy, and the problem of estimating the minimum investment and annual operating costs. Secondly, we modify the PSO to speed up the convergence process of PSO, and then high quality of resource optimization scheduling results can be obtained. Finally, experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
