Abstract
Abstract Resolution of α—amino acid enantiomers by ligand exchange chromatography on a new chiral packing, which the chiral ligands were linked onto a hydrophilic polymeric matrix through long spacers, was studied. The packing had high enantioselectivity for most of the amino acids tested. The mechanism of the resolution was discussed. The semi- preparative scale resolution was made.
