Abstract

AbstractAn optically active complex containing coordinated fluoride ion has been resolved for the first time. Salts of the new complex ions, cis and trans [Co en2NO2F]+ were prepared. Rates of aquation and racemization were measured for the complex [Co en2F2]+. It was of interest to find that the aquation of this complex is catalyzed by acid.
